"What is a church person?" This is the question Pastor Stacey Harris asks as he begins a new three week study in Third John entitled Church People. Of the three types of church people outlined by John, Pastor Harris teaches the congregation that each "church person" displays characteristics of all, but embodies one more predominantly than the others. To begin the series he examines Gaius, "the helping person," and outlines the characteristics of such a person within the church by studying his relationships, reputation, and actions.

This Sunday, Pastor Stacey Harris concludes the Catalyst series by outlining the final "spiritual catalyst" essential to our relationship with Christ: The Word of God. He characterizes The Word as a precious, passionate, and peerless book. He also emphasizes and outlines four points to the congregation, stating that the power of The Word lies in its source, sharpness, sufficiency, and saturation.

This Sunday, Pastor Stacey Harris focuses on prayer, the fourth "spiritual catalyst" necessary for jump starting a more dynamic relationship with Christ. He teaches the congregation that to pray more effectively we must remember God is our audience, build our foundation of prayer in alignment to his will and purpose for our lives, seek to pray in agreement with each other, and be motivated to take action.

This Sunday, Pastor Stacey Harris begins his new sermon series, Catalyst. He begins by introducing the premise of the series as the "spiritual catalysts" needed to enhance, speed up, and intensify our relationship and experience with God. Following from that, he outlines the first and most important of all the catalysts needed in our spiritual lives: faith. He teaches the church important qualities to know about faith and provides them with the "activation traits" used to employ faith in enhancing their relationship with Christ.
